When looking for reference images of tigers, I studied the composition and essence of a tiger's body to interpret it in a way that captured the animal's true spirit. I wanted my final mark to communicate stealth, solidarity, and strength.

Iterations phase 1
I explored different striped patterns to find one that felt sleek and simple, but still organic. I digitally refined the form of the tiger, and experimented with different weights to communicate movement and position on the page.
